County Councillor Lucy Hodgson would like to invite you to an event at The Hive 5 – 7pm on Thursday 9th June 2016 as part of National Volunteers’ Week to promote and celebrate volunteering in Worcestershire.

The event is free of charge and open to the public, volunteers, voluntary organisations, Parish & Town Councils and local businesses. It is an opportunity for individuals to find out more about volunteering and the valuable contribution volunteers make to communities in Worcestershire.

There will be an information market place where voluntary organisations from across Worcestershire can network and promote volunteering roles, as well as presentations from Councillor Lucy Hodgson and Clare Marchant, Chief Executive Worcestershire County Council.

The event will conclude with an awards ceremony to recognise the contributions that volunteers have given and the difference they have made to lives in Worcestershire.  If you know of someone or an organisation that deserves recognition for all they do around volunteering then please complete the nomination form, which also gives details of all the categories.
