Calling all Youth Workers in Worcestershire

Training Opportunity

Do you work with young people in Worcestershire age 11 – 19?

Want to gain a qualification and improve your skills, knowledge and understanding in youth work?  Then this is for you

Level 2 Award in Youth Work Principles

The course will cover:

• The Theory of Youth Work
• Safeguarding in a Youth Work setting
• Adolescent Development
• Engaging and Communicating with Young People

The course is very interactive and will run over 4 daytime sessions, starting in November.

Learning is designed to be fun and individual as well as group learning support will be available. Different ways of submitting evidence will also be available.

Dates and Times

Tuesday 1^st November – 10.30am – 2.30pm

Tuesday 8^th November  – 10.30am – 2.30pm

Tuesday 15^th November – 10.30am – 2.30pm

Thursday 1^st December – 2 workbooks to be submitted for assessment

Tuesday 13^th December – 10.30am – 2.30pm

Thursday 26^th January – 2 workbooks to be submitted for assessment

Venue: Malvern Cube, Albert Road North, Malvern, Worcs, WR14 2YF

Cost: £500 per learner (Free as we have received a bursary) places available to Young Solutions Members and Positive Activities Providers in Worcestershire.
