Seek and Reach Education & Employment Service is for young people aged 16-24 years who are NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training) and living in Worcestershire.
We are currently offering young people six 1:1 information, advice and guidance sessions in local community venues, such as a coffee shop or library. These sessions are designed to support young people with careers advice, employability skills, confidence building and help looking for appropriate opportunities and pathways into education, employment and training.
The project is funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF), and is outcomes driven. In order to meet these outcomes, Young Solutions has appointed a team of Seek and Reach Education & Employment Advisors, each with a caseload of young people to whom they provide regular support. The Seek and Reach Education & Employment Advisors provide support to encourage inactive young people to participate in the labour market or education.
The Seek and Reach Education & Employment Advisors work directly with young people, helping them identify and address the barriers to further education, work and training. They offer young people assistance deciding what they want to achieve and support in helping them to progress. You can see the team here: Team Gallery.
