Worcestershire Safeguarding Children’s Board (WSCB) is offering voluntary youth sector organisations the opportunity to buy bundles of e-learning licences at discounted prices. A voluntary sector organisation can buy 20 licences for £50, equating to £2.50 per licence compared with the normal price of £12.50 per licence.
For small voluntary sector youth organisations this will give their staff access to the following online training courses:
- Awareness of Child Abuse and Neglect
- E-Safety
- Child Sexual Exploitation
- Safeguarding Children with Disabilities
- Domestic Violence including the Impact on Children and Young People
- The effect of Parental Drug and Alcohol Misuse on Children
- Parental Mental Health
Applying for a bundle of licences is easy:
Please complete the membership form below listing all those staff who will be accessing the e-learning. Please note that if staff leave during the year of membership their training allocation cannot be replaced with new staff so please ensure that you allow for new staff joining your organisation when selecting the membership package you require. Send the completed form to wscbtraining@worcestershire.gov.uk stating what month you wish the package to start – membership packages start on the first day of each month.
Voluntary organisations will then receive notification from WSCB detailing the code your staff need to use when registering for their e-learning. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to ensure that staff enter this code in the section which asks for their cost code on their learner registration page. Failure to do so could result in you being charged for an individual licence and once an invoice has been issued it cannot be withdrawn. N.B. Those staff who already have a registration with Virtual Academy must update their information.
