We can improve your safeguarding knowledge and skills, providing expert advice through our dedicated safeguarding training.

We are committed to ‘keeping young people safe and involved’ across Worcestershire and our safeguarding training offers local voluntary organisations and groups access to expert advice and the opportunity to develop their knowledge and skills.

With a team of expert trainers who are highly experienced in delivering safeguarding training, our training covers everything from awareness raising through to more intensive and focused sessions, discussing roles, responsibilities and procedures required to meet current legislation and guidance.

Through this training, we can help to equip your staff and volunteers with practical knowledge on how to prevent harm to children and young people.

It promotes ‘child-first’ thinking and assists all those whose work involves children and young people to always act in their best interests and keep them safe.

The safeguarding training not only protects and promotes the welfare of children and young people, but also it enhances the confidence of trustees, staff, volunteers, parents/carers and the wider community.
