Developing skills to support young people

Young Solutions Worcestershire offers a wide range of training for individuals, organisations and partnerships involved in improving the quality of life for children and young people.

Our comprehensive Training Programme, designed in response to our youth sector survey, provides a wide range of learning opportunities for staff, volunteers and trustees. The accessible, learner-centred and relevant sessions prove exceptional value for money with a variety of times and dates. Most courses are delivered over Zoom, so can be accessed from your workplace or home, and our BITESIZE courses are short, easy ways to update and upskill your workers.

We are really pleased to offer a number of the courses for free, with others costing just £10 for voluntary sector youth organisations or Young Solutions members. (Paid courses cost £25 for non-members/non-VCS. Youth Work Levels 2 and 3 costs are tbc for all).

Our Online Courses: Designed to enable staff and volunteers to access training when convenient for them, our e-learning courses are ideal as an introduction to youth work. They cover most of the essential areas for a new volunteer paid staff member or trustee, and are also great as a refresher. Courses are available in:
