Developing skills to support young people
Young Solutions offers a wide range of training for individuals, organisations and partnerships involved in improving the quality of life for children and young people.
Our comprehensive Training Programme, designed in response to feedback and information emerging from the sector, provides a wide range of learning opportunities for staff, volunteers and trustees. The accessible, learner-centred and relevant sessions prove exceptional value for money with a variety of times and dates. Most courses are delivered over Zoom, so can be accessed from your workplace or home, and our BITESIZE courses are a quick and easy way to update and upskill your workers.

- Drugs & Alcohol Awareness – Mon 17th March, 11am-1pm (Droitwich)
- Autism Awareness – Thurs 20th March, 1.30-2.30pm (Zoom) OR Mon 31st March, 6-7pm (Zoom)
- Introduction to Neurodiversity – Sat 10th May, 10-11.30am (tbc) OR Mon 19th May (tbc)
- Safeguarding Overview & Good Practice – Thurs 13th March, 10am-12pm (Zoom) OR Mon 12th May (Zoom)
- Contextual Safeguarding – Tues 25th March, 1-3.30pm (Zoom)
- Data Protection & GDPR – Tues 8th April, 10-11.30am (Zoom) OR Wed 7th May, 7-8.30pm (Zoom)
- Introduction to Measuring Impact – Fri 21st March, 10-11.30am (Zoom) OR Wed 21st May, 1.30-3pm (Zoom)
- Emergency First Aid at Work – Fri 2nd May, 10am-2pm (Malvern plus online pre-learning)
We are really pleased to offer places on a number of the courses for FREE, with other courses costing from £10 for voluntary sector youth organisations or Young Solutions members. Paid courses cost from £25 for non-members/non-VCS.

Bespoke or Additional Courses:
Most of the courses above can also be delivered in-house for your organisation at a very reasonable rate. If you would like to request a course, are looking for something else for an individual or want a bespoke course for your organisation, please complete our training request form and we will try our best to help you.
Our Online Courses:
Designed to enable staff and volunteers to access training when convenient for them, our e-learning courses are ideal as an introduction to youth work. They cover most of the essential areas for a new volunteer paid staff member or trustee, and are also great as a refresher. Courses are available in:
