VCSE Mental Health Services Programme Manager

The VCSE Alliance Worcestershire aims to build a stronger VCSE (voluntary, community and social enterprise) sector, working together effectively to deliver excellent services aligned to need. We work alongside statutory agencies using our influence and insights to bridge the gap that exists between voluntary and public sectors; helping to improve public services to better meet the needs of our local population.

Salary:  £35,000 (pro rata) – Up to 30 hours per week

Location:  Mobile working with travel across Worcestershire. Office work can be carried out either at home or at Young Solutions, Severn House, 32 Ombersley Street West, Droitwich, WR9 8QZ

Hours:  30 hours per week, flexible between Monday and Friday – 9am and 5.30pm. Occasional evening and weekend meetings may need to be attended. Fewer hours will be considered for the right candidate. We are pleased to be able to offer this role as a secondment opportunity.

Duration:  This post will be a one-year contract initially

We are seeking a talented Programme Manager to join us on our exciting journey to harness the potential of the VCSE sector in our local communities. The VSCE Alliance is a new partnership with an exciting remit and the potential to really impact services in particular mental health services for Worcestershire residents.

You will work within a small team to support the work of the VCSE Alliance and facilitate the delivery of mental health services across Worcestershire. This role will play a significant part in ensuring that the sector can fully mobilise to respond to unmet need as appropriate in current mental health services across both primary and secondary care.

We are looking for an excellent communicator with strong planning and organisational skills. Your energy, commitment, and positivity coupled with an ability to really connect and engage with people, will ensure increased awareness of the organisation and its role.
