On Thursday 23rd June a regional conference aimed at those working with young people has been organised by Youth Focus West Midlands and is being held at Northgate House, Warwick. The theme of the conference is Child Sexual Exploitation and the keynote speaker is Philippa Creswell, the executive head of the West Midland wide child sexual exploitation initiative ‘See Me, Hear Me’.

The conference commences at 9.30am and finishes at 3.30pm and costs £20 for Young Solutions members. There will be a variety of workshops looking at the contribution youth workers and those that work with young people can make to tackling CSE.

Andy Gynn of Young Solutions will also be making a presentation – YFWM and Young Solutions are in the process of designing and developing a suite of CPD accredited online youth work courses.
