FREE Training – Thurs 20 Mar- Autism Awareness BITESIZE

Autism is a lifelong developmental disability which affects how people communicate and interact with the world and one in 100 people are on the autism spectrum. This BITESIZE introductory course, developed by SENDIASS (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Information, Advice and Support Service (IASS) covering Herefordshire and Worcestershire) and co-delivered by young people with autism, explains:

  • What autism is
  • Typical behaviours – what you see and what is actually happening for the autistic person
  • How you can assist an autistic person

Course Details:

  • Time: 1.30pm to 2.30pm
  • Location: Zoom
  • Cost: FREE
