Calling all Worcestershire Detached Youth Workers! – Join our first-ever network meeting!

Following three successful training sessions on detached youth work, we’re excited to invite you to a chance to connect with colleagues, share experiences, and tackle challenges together.
What to expect:
- Practitioner-led agenda: This meeting is by and for detached youth workers, both paid staff and volunteers, experienced and less experienced. We’ll delve into what good practice looks like, identify solutions to real-world issues you face on the streets, and explore themes identified by the field.
- Expert facilitator: The network will be supported by the popular and highly experienced Mike Collyer, executive member of the Federation for Detached Youth Work. A champion for both young people and detached youth workers, Mike brings a wealth of experience and support to the table.
- Face-to-face meetings: Currently, we plan to meet every 2 months in person for maximum networking. However, we’re open to a blended approach of online and face-to-face sessions in the future, depending on what works best for everyone.
Mark your calendars! – Thursday 12th September, 6.30-8.30pm, in Bromsgrove
