Cost: Free for staff and volunteers of voluntary sector organisations working with children, young people and families in Worcestershire.
Course Content
This multi-agency training is an invaluable opportunity to share knowledge and reflect on policy and practice within your own organisations thus developing a shared understanding of safeguarding children within Worcestershire. We will talk about how safeguarding looks and feels like in your own organisations – strengths and weaknesses, share best practice, look at a simple self-assessment tool available to help you assess your organisations safeguarding and child protection practices and give you practical ideas to take back to your organisations to take forward in order to improve and develop existing policy and practice and make sure safeguarding is embedded throughout your organisations.
