Awards for All Workshop
The Big Lottery Awards for All fund offers grants of between £300 and £10,000 for grassroots and community activity that aims to improve life for local people and neighbourhoods. The fund doesn’t have a deadline so organisations can apply at any time. Young Solutions has advised a number of its members on how to apply and how to design a successful application. Awards for All is the Lottery’s most popular grants programme and they prioritise groups with smaller incomes. In these difficult times Awards for All can offer organisations the chance to generate much needed funding.
The Lottery monitors the distribution of Awards for All funds and wants to encourage organisations in those areas where there is a lack of applications to apply. Certain parts of Worcestershire has not seen organisations submit applications, consequently there is a notional underspend on Awards for All applications.
Young Solutions wants to encourage organisations in Worcestershire to apply. Therefore, it is organising two free of charge short workshops led by Big Lottery staff member Giselle Brown. Big Lottery will make a presentation regarding Awards for All and answer questions about applications. Young Solutions staff will be present to offer follow up support.
