It is a statutory requirement that individual agencies/ organisations are responsible for ensuring that all people working in a paid or voluntary capacity have access to high quality training and support to ensure the safeguarding of children (Working Together, 2015).  This includes the topic of Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE).

Recent high profile events have placed Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) into the media spotlight. It is imperative that voluntary organisations, staff, volunteers and leadership teams are fully aware of what CSE is and play a key role in stopping it.  Young Solutions have developed a two hour training session that will raise awareness of the background to CSE and includes;

  • Definition of CSE
  • The legal framework
  • Some key research findings
  • Risk indicators and how to spot the signs
  • Where to get help and advice
  • Information sharing
  • The effects of CSE on individual children and young people
  • Protective and resilience factors
  • Vulnerability factors in the family

The training will take place at Perdiswell Young People’s Leisure Club, Droitwich Road, Worcester, WR3 7SN on Tuesday 19th January 2016.  It is being run twice, 3.00 – 5.00pm  and 6.00 – 8.00pm if you would like to attend this FREE training please complete the online form below or complete a training booking form and return it to us office@youngsolutions.org.uk, this is first come first served and places are limited.
